LOOK at your relationship with God

We often meet people who are open to talking about spiritual things but are not ready to devote themselves to the Lord. As leaders for youth and teens, we must be ready to invite them into ongoing conversations centered on the Gospel.

LOOK is a four-session, one-on-one course, with each meeting lasting up to an hour.
This booklet is designed for personal, warm conversations that don’t require a special place or a big time commitment.
Over these sessions, you and the young person will LOOK at:

  1. yourself

  2. your biggest problem

  3. God’s solution

  4. what you need to do next

All by opening the Bible together and answering simple questions.

How to invite a teen to start the LOOK Bible study?

“I know you have questions.”

“I’d love to buy you a coffee and go through this together.”

“It’s just four meetings.”

Tips for leading the LOOK course:

  1. Remember that this is spiritual warfare.

  2. Pray often.

  3. Be kindly direct during the invitation and throughout your meetings.

  4. Open the Bible together.

  5. Leave enough time for questions.

  6. Don’t worry if the conversation goes off track—just make sure to return to the lesson.
